The president of the United States, Donald Trump, presented a plan to “clean” the devastated strip of Gaza by pushing Egypt and Jordan to welcome the Palestinians, sending shock waves in the middle of a fragile truce between Israel and Hamas directed to permanently end the war.

Hamas opposes Trump’s plan, Islamic jihad accuses him of ‘war crimes’
