The Secretary of State of the CPI (M), MV Govindan, said on Saturday that the decision to allow the manufacture of ethanol in Elapully was taken by the state government and would not return to the proposal.
“We are ahead with the project and if someone starts from the left front has a problem at any stage, we are not reluctant to maintain discussions and iron problems,” he told the media here. Govindan said that the bureaucratic objection to the conversation of a small plot of land that part of the project could not be interpreted as an objection by the CPI, which governs the Department of Income.
“The spirit that Kerala needs must be manufactured within the State. If someone else presents to establish an installation, they are also welcome. We lose some ₹ 100 million rupees in the transport of spirit to the State and anticipate objections to the manufacture of spirit within the state from the spiritual lobby, ”he said.
For a question, Mr. Govindan said that Kiifb had financed projects worth some ₹ 90,000 million rupees in the state and that it was natural for the government to think about several ways to pay the debt. “The idea of collecting tolls on roads financed by Kiifb has not been discussed inside the left front. It will soon be done, and a collective decision will be made, ”he said, adding that the left in principle did not agree with the collection of tolls on the roads.
Previously, Mr. Govindan criticized the Budget of the Union for ignoring Kerala and praised the state budget for aiming to growth. He accused Congress legislators of searching for Kiifb projects in their voters and criticizing him later. Mr. Govindan also chose to blame Congress for not aligning with the AAP, which said that the BJP won the elections of the Delhi Assembly.
