Republic Day 2025: India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day today. Google marked the special day with a vibrant scribble that represents elements of the Republic Day parade. Google Doodle, created by the guest artist based in Pune Rohan Dahotre, highlights the importance of this historic day and emphasizes the importance of cultural representation. It shows several animals, each symbolizing different regions of India. These animals represent the various landscapes, cultures and wildlife of the country, celebrating the rich natural and cultural heritage of the country.
“This scribble celebrates the 76th day of the Republic of India, an occasion marked by pride and national unity. On this day in 1950, the nation officially adopted the constitution of India and made the transition to a republic,” he wrote Google explaining the importance of the Day of the Republic.
“The Doodle art work with a parade of the Republic Day was illustrated by the guest artist based in Pune Rohan Dahotre. Animals portrayed in the parade represent different regions of India,” he added.
In addition, Google stressed the importance of the celebrations of the Day of the Republic. “The annual parade of the Republic Day is widely guarded and attended, and covers several kilometers in Kartavya Path to India Gate. Attendees enjoy color, great floats and cultural performances throughout the country, along with marches and formations of different contingents of the armed contingents of the nation. ”
The Republic Day Parade, held annually at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, is one of the most anticipated events in the country. The balloons that carry banners of the official logo for the year 75 of the Constitution will be launched at the end of the program, which will end with a spectacular flypast with 47 planes.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Pabowo Subianto, will serve as the main guest for the event. A 160 -members march contingent and a band of 190 members of Indonesia will join the parade in Kartavya Path, along with contingents of the Indian Armed Forces, said Defense Secretary, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh.
