Gaza should be an essential part of a future Palestinian state, a spokesman for the foreign policy of the European Union said on Wednesday, he added that the EU was committed to a solution of two states for Israelis and Palestinians.
President Donald Trump has proposed that the United States take over Gaza devastated by war after resetting the Palestinians in other places. The comments have drawn the global conviction.
“We take note of President Trump’s comments. The EU remains firmly committed to a solution of two states, which we believe is the only way to long -term peace for both the Israelis and the Palestinians,” said the spokesman of the EU.
“Gaza is an integral part of a future Palestinian state,” he added.
