Vivo is back with a new V series only four months after the launch of his V30 series. The new phones are called Vivo V40 and V40 Pro, respectively, and have a price among the smart and premium range smartphone segments. We have the living V40 Pro with us, which includes high -end hardware and also seems the part when it is a premium design. The phone has a price of RS. 49,999 for the Base Storage variant of 8 GB + 256 GB of storage and RS. 55,999 for the storage variant of 12 GB of RAM + 512 GB. While the typical intelligent phone of the V series has always been about thin designs and aesthetics, Vivo adopted a slightly different approach with his V30 series, focusing on a better camera hardware. With the V40, it seems that it aims to be an all -terrain, with an approach to the performance and duration of the battery. So, let’s take a close more look at the new.
We do not expect much of the mid -year updates, but I live with a renewed design. Like recent models, the phone continues to have curved edges on the sides with an upper and lower part. The durability of the phone has improved and now comes with an official IP68 rating versus the official IP54 qualification of the V30 Pro.
The curved design also means that its typical 3D curved edge screen is included. This is a 6.78 -inch Curvated AMOLED panel, HD+ 120Hz with a curved edge protected by alpha schott xensation glass. The rear on the curved edge is also made of glass, and our Ganges Blue review unit looks unique with its iridescent wave pattern, although it seems a bit similar to the blue finish of V30 Pro’s Andaman. The phone is also available in a gray titanium finish.
What stands out is the camera module in strange -looking keyboard. Since the rest of the phone is quite thin, the camera module stands out a bit and consists of a circular module (accommodation of the 50 megapixel and primary chambers), while the lower capsule -shaped set contains the 50 megapixel . (2x Optics) Teleobjective Chamber and the LED Ring of Luz Aura. As you can see in the photos, the aura ring light has been reduced in size compared to that of the V30 Pro. The Selfie Chamber, as well as the previous model, also has a 50 megapixel selfie camera with automatic approach capacity . In summary, the chamber configuration is similar to its predecessor.
The telephone runs the Vivo Fantouch 14 operating system, which is based on Android 14 and also comes with some functions of IA images. The V40 Pro is promoted by a 9200+ mediatek socity, which is a good update and comes with several improvements on the SOC Dimensity 8200 of the V30 Pro.
The battery has also been updated. The V40 Pro now obtains a 5,500 mAh battery that can be loaded using the same 80W charger as before. Vivo has not included any wireless load functionality with the new model.
With solid updates mainly in the performance and battery departments, we hope that I live V40 Pro obtained the necessary impulse to stand out between the multitude of premium devices of Samsung and Google this year. These devices are also full of AI functions, which I live as a brand has not yet deepened in its premium offers and currently seems reserved for its Ultra Premium offers (I live x fold 3 pro) only. If you are looking for a Premium smartphone with an approach to photography, they are attentive to our detailed review, which will soon come out.
