The Samsung Galaxy F series has always been known for offering a good balance of aggressive functions and prices. We have seen some incredible products of this series and the brand plans to bring things to the next level with its latest Samsung Galaxy F55 5G. The last smartphone offers a new vegan leather finish, a novelty of Samsung, better fast charge, decent hardware and more. The phone offers interesting characteristics and specifications, which places it among the best phones in this price segment. We spend some time with the device and here are our first impressions.

Starting with the design, which is also the main PVU of the device, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is the company’s first smartphone that presents a vegan leather finish. Although this type of finish is not new in the Smart Telephone segment of India, as we have seen brands such as Realme, IQoo, Motorola and more already offer multiple models with this leather finish, Samsung’s implementation is quite successful.

We have the APRICOT CRUSH color option, and it is sure to stand out for its bright orange leather finish and its stitch -shaped pattern that runs through the edges. The leather is soft and gives you a premium sensation when you hold it.

The flat panel design helps to hold the device comfortably. Samsung has given in the nail with this design pattern, since it is quite easy to use. One thing we discovered were the camera modules that stand out, which makes it staggered on a flat surface. However, this is not the only smartphone in this segment, since the list is quite long.

The front panel offers a screen without bevel with a drilled hole in the upper central position for the front camera. The right side of the device provides volume controls and an ignition/off button, while the left panel houses the SIM tray. The lower panel comes with a USB Type C port and a speaker rack. In general, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G offers an elegant and light design, limited in this price segment.

The screen also causes good impression. The phone offers a 6.7 -inch SAMOLED+ screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It is also loaded with a 120 Hz screen update frequency and up to 1000 maximum brightness nits. The screen has always been the strong point of the brand and this is no different. We liked the screen quite a lot, since it offers stunning colors and shine. We will discuss more about this in our review.

As for performance, the last Galaxy F55 5G is loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. price. In our brief tests, we discovered that the performance of the device was quite satisfactory with daily use.

The phone also works with the latest Oneui 6.1 version, based on the Android 14 operating system. The user interface seems fluid for now and we will talk in detail about its performance and user interface in our next review, so be attentive.

Samsung also added some decent cameras in the Galaxy F55 5g. The phone includes a triple camera settings with a 50 megapixel primary sensor with OIS support, an 8 -megapixel ultra -angular lens and a 2 megapixel macro trigger. On the front, the phone offers a 50 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Selfies performance seems interesting during our test phase.

The telephone also offers a 5000 mAh battery and is loaded with fast charging support of 45 W. It is good to see that Samsung finally offers faster load support for its mid -range smartphones to face the competition of other brands. During our initial tests, the device was quickly charged and the battery life seems good so far.

That said, the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G offers excellent value for money with its light and elegant design. The vegan leather finish is an approval, while the inclusion of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor favors the brand. However, we still have to try it in our different parameters to discover if the phone can support the pressure of its competitors. So be attentive to our full review!
