The officials of the central crime branch have registered a case of trap and falsification against a woman and her associates for allegedly creating a false government order to appoint a clinical psychologist for the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

According to CCB officials, the accused woman identified as Deepa Ramakrishna, and her associates, created a false Go with a forged signature to deceive people.

The deception came to light when the officials of the Information and Advertising Department alerted the Department of Medical Education about the appointment in search of verification.

Shivalingaprabhu Wali, under Secretary 2, Department of Medical Education, who investigated the case and then filed a complaint with the CCB, said in his complaint that the government’s order to appoint the doctor is false and even the firm has been manufactured.

The department verified the GO and concluded that the GO order dated September 2024 is false with the falsified firm of Mr. Wali without records of such order in the department.
