A Food Security Working Group inspected establishments in the Hyderabad Jubilee Hills area on February 1, 2025. One of them, Poshnhosh Lounge & Bar (located on Highway No. 36), was operational despite its license expired on December 20, 2024. The FBO [Food Business Operator] It did not provide the required documents, such as water analysis reports, pest control records, FOSTAC certificates and employee medical records. The task force seized Sichuan Pepper expired and poorly marked discovered in the facilities. Apparently it was a “Bangkok product”, but officials pointed out that the importer’s details were not available. They found many other items/ ingredients of expired and discarded them. These included 1 liter of soy sauce, 18 paquet packages, 1 kilo of rasam dust, 800 grams of mushrooms, 2 kilos of packaged method, onion powder and kajun mixture. The officials also found 1 kilo of citric acid full only for industrial use in the storage area. In addition, they observed that the loose divided anacardos were infested with insects.
Officials marked several other food safety and food security concerns. They found vegetarian and non -vegetarian foods, as well as food and non -food items that are stored together. They also saw foods that were stored on the ground. The team pointed out that refrigerators “were not defrosted and properly cleaned.” They observed that the kitchen floor had no drains that allowed the elimination of food waste. They also saw an opening to the outer environment that lacked a window or an insect -proof screen. (This could imply exposure to external elements and particles).

In the same town, the task force also inspected Kishkinda Kitchen (Kake di Hatti) on February 1. The establishment did not provide them with the necessary water analysis reports, FOSTAC certificates and employee medical records. The officials found several defeated foods, noticed the dates on them and discarded them. These include 1 liter of packaging orange juice, 1.6 kilos of mushrooms with buttons, 600 grams of sunflower seeds and 200 grams of rai/mustard seeds packaged. In terms of hygiene violations, they discovered feces of rats “in various places of storage, which suggests infestation of rodents.” In addition, they observed a live cockroach infestation in the kitchen.
The team found food waste in the refrigerators and marked its filly condition. They also saw that the waste of food was blocking the kitchen drains. In addition, the task force discovered spoiled vegetables such as lemons, potatoes, etc. They observed that the articles of half -sighted food and raw materials, food and non -food items were stored together. In addition, food manipulators in the facilities did not wear gloves.
