New Delhi:
The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, the BJP key strategist when it comes to elections, seemed safe today that the long exile of the BJP in Delhi will end this time. In statements to NDTV in an exclusive interview, Mr. Shah asked about the matter, he certainly said exile and the “BJP government will be formed.”
The BJP has been out of power in Delhi for more than 25 years, which have seen consecutive terms in power by Congress and AAP. His performance in the last two rounds of elections of the Assembly has been abysmal as the AAM AADMI party of Arvind Kejriwal or AAP picked up a majority of the 70 assembly seats.
However, the BJP has managed to maintain its control in the seats of Lok Sabha of the national capital, winning the seven again last year and bringing hopes of power at the state level.
The change, Shah said, was a certainty in Delhi, especially because AAP has “committed corruption” despite coming to power in the wings of the anti -corruption movement of Gandhian Anna Hazare.
“They have committed corruption that is worth billions of rupees. They arrived in the name of Anna,” he said.
In addition, “lies have a useful life,” he said.
“Here, the lies have been happening for a long time. 10 years have passed. The public has come to know. That is why the change will happen.”
The party is depositing in the huge accusations of corruption against AAP, especially in the special tax policy fraud, on which its key leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia were arrested. AAP has based the accusations, calling them politically.
With regard to the promises of the BJP to Delhi, about which AAP had accused the BJP of being an imitator, he said: “They have not copied.”
“Some promises can be similar. They (AAP) did not comply with them, but the public knows that Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) will fulfill them,” he added.
The February 5 elections in Delhi will be a battle of three corners between the AAP ruling, the BJP and the Congress. The voting count will take place on February 8.
