The partial election to the constituency of the Erode (EAST) Assembly witnessed an electoral participation of 67.97% on Wednesday (February 5, 2025). This is lower than 74.79% registered during the 2023 selection held in the constituency.

The surveys began at 7 am at 237 electoral centrals in 53 locations in the constituency and concluded at 6 pm the participation of voters at several intervals was as follows: 10.95% at 9 am, 26.03% at 11 am to 11 am to The 3 PM and 64.02% for the 5 PM, the decrease in voter participation could be attributed to the Aiadmk and BJP boycotting the partial election, since many of its officials and paintings refrained from voting. Although quick surveys were observed in the morning, the final time saw poor participation in most surveys.

The vote count will take place in the College of Engineering government in Chithode on Saturday (February 8, 2025).
