New Delhi:

Delhi recorded an electoral participation of 57.89 percent in the assembly surveys on Wednesday in the midst of poor practices positions, including the distribution of money and the false vote of AAP and BJP, which are involved in an intense battle to decide who governs The national capital.

The participation is approximately five percentage points lower than the 2020 Assembly surveys (62.59 percent) when the match led by Arvind Kejriwal won 62 seats from the 70 seats, while the BJP obtained eight and the Congress zero.

The long voting tails were witnessed outside the electoral schools in different electoral districts since dawn, and there were still people waiting after the scheduled closing time at 6 pm.

The results of the exit survey began to arrive shortly after, and several of them predict a victory for the BJP over the AAP, while it was projected that Congress would suffer another defeat.

According to the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, 57.89 percent of the votes, there are 1.56 million eligible voters, were surveyed at 5 in the afternoon. The percentage will increase as officials update the figures of 13,766 stations.

“The 70 electoral districts of the Delhi Assembly went to the polls today in a peaceful and festive atmosphere. Voters were delighted with the voting process without problems and the facilities in the electoral colleges,” said an official statement from ECI. “All voters in the queue after formal survey hours, that is, 6 pm can cast their vote,” said the statement.

The voting cabins throughout the city were covered in colors and posted celebrity posters with special messages to give voters an impression of a true festive spirit. One of those posters carried the image of Mangeshkar can, while several others represented the Paralympics.

A total of 699 candidates are dedicated to a great battle that decided if the AAP comes to power in Delhi for the third consecutive mandate or the BJP has the opportunity to form a government in the national capital after 27 years. Congress also made a total effort to recover its support point in city policy.

President Druguadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, Union Ministers S Jaishankar and Hardeep Singh Puri, Congress Leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyank Ere Among The Early voters.

After casting their vote in a survey cabin in Moti Bagh, the main election commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, said everyone has worked very hard for behavior without survey problems.

During the day, the AAM AADMI and BJP match gave themselves to an intense guilt game, accusing each other of the bad voting practices in different constituencies.

Delhi’s electoral director (CEO) told PTI around noon that the voting process was happening “without problems.” Some EVMs were replaced during simulated surveys and real vote too, said the CEO.

The high drama developed in Selampur when a BJP leader claimed that some people with Burkas tried to vote fraudulent. However, the police denied any false vote in the area. In Kasturba Nagar, police sources said two men allegedly tried to vote fraudulently. They have been arrested and were interrogated, they said.

After the false voting accusations on the BJP in Selampur, the AAP workers resorted to sloganering. However, Delhi’s police dismissed false voting charges and said there was enough security deployment in the area, including paramilitary forces staff.

In Majnu-Ka-Tilla de Delhi, the Pakistani Hindu refugees, who obtained Indian citizenship after the implementation of Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Law (amendment), issued their votes for the first time in India.

The first in the former, the elderly, the transgender and women enthusiastically exercised their franchise in the elections to form a new government.

At least six departure surveys predicted a BJP victory, while two said the AAP would retain power. Two other surveys showed a close contest between them, with an advantage for the BJP.

AAP’s national spokeswoman, Reena Gupta, rejected the results of the departure survey, saying that the party will form the government again in Delhi and Arvind Kejriwal will become the prime minister a fourth time consecutive.

The Chief of Delhi BJP, Virendra Sachdeva, said that the victory of the game will be more spectacular than what the exit surveys showed.

After casting his vote along with the members of his family, the head of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, called on the people of Delhi to exercise his franchise for “good schools, hospitals and city development.”

Arvind Kejriwal, who is playing from the New Delhi seat for the fourth consecutive time, faces Parvesh Verma and Sandeep Dikship of BJP, in an enthusiastic contest.

“My parents have health problems, but they were very excited about the vote from the morning,” said Arvind Kejriwal to journalists. His wife Sunita Kejriwal and her son Pulkit Kejriwal also accompanied him to the voting station.

Hopefully people vote for “those who work,” said Arvind Kejriwal. His wife Sunita Kejriwal said people are “very intelligent” and will make the right decision.

“They will not tolerate hooliganism,” he said.

The BJP is making an aggressive impulse to claim Delhi after more than 25 years, with its campaign focused on issues such as corruption, governance failures and law and order.
