The Director General of the Police Force of the Central Reserve (CRPF) GP Singh reviewed the security and operational preparation of the force during a recent two -day visit to the progress areas in Jammu and the Rajouri district of Kashmir, the authorities said on Friday (February 7, 2025).
Mr. Singh also met with Lieutenant Governor Loj Sinha on Thursday (February 6, 2025) and informed him about the preparation of the force for anti -terrorist operations and the management of law and order situations.

The head of the Central Reserve Police (CRPF) visited Kalakote, Kopratop and Thanamandi camps in the border district during their two -day visit, officials said.
He reviewed the general security situation, apart from the operational preparation of the troops, they added.
Mr. Singh interacted with the personnel in the new Counter of the Kopra insurgency, established under Battalion 237 of the CRPF, in Kopratop, a site that witnessed a significant terrorist activity during the last four years.
He also committed to officers and Jawans, listening to his operational experiences.
The officials said that Mr. Singh put stress on the importance of maintaining a strong commitment to duty while guaranteeing a healthy balance for work.
His visit is seen as a moral reinforcement for the troops involved in counterinsurgency operations, they said.
