The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Tuesday (January 28, 2025) approved a resolution during its meeting of the State Committee, urging the center to release the pending quotas to Tamil Nadu for a sum of ₹ 1,635 million rupees under the MAHATMA GANDHI NATIONAL RURAL RURAL RURAL GUARANTEE SCHEME (MGNGS).
According to a press release, the party also approved two other resolutions, urging the state government to guarantee peace and harmony in Tamil Nadu and take measures to safeguard the right of minorities to worship, and caressing the efforts of workers when registering when registering The Samsung India Workers Union (SIWU).
