BRS Legislators lodging a complaint against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Pet Bhasheerabab police station in Hyderabad on Friday.

HYDERABAD

Leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) lodged complaints in police stations against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, on Friday (March 14, 2025), sought action against the latter for making criminal, heinous, obscene, and inhuman comments against former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

BRS legislators Shambipur Raju, K.P. Vivekanand and Marri Rajasekhar Reddy lodged a complaint with the Pet Basheerabad police station, and another complaint was lodged with the Film Nagar police station by BRS leaders led by MLC-elect Dasoju Sravan and Jubilee Hills Corporator Venkatesh.

By stating that Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao would be sent to the mortuary from the stretcher onto which he was already sent, the Chief Minister appeared to be conspiring to harm Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao physically, the BRS leaders said in the complaints.

They sought to know how a person holding responsible and constitutional position as the Chief Minister could say that a living person would be sent to a mortuary, if he had no criminal intentions. They asked whether Mr. Revanth Reddy was planning to send those who were questioning his failures to keep the promises made before the election to the mortuary. It was nothing but clearly threatening somebody to eliminate physically, they alleged.

The BRS leaders requested the police to register cases against Mr. Revanth Reddy under IPC and BNSS provisions, expose the conspiracy behind the comments and strengthen the security to Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao.
