Bobby Lashley, known for his fights with stars such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Drew Mclyntyre, spoke about his and Brock Lesnar’s stay in the MMA industry. Lashley, who has worked in various organizations such as WWE, Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA) is a member of The Hurt Syndicate, which consists of Shelton Benjamin and MVP, who serves as his manager and trio partner in AWE. Lashley has been progressing in the current company and won the AEW Tag Team Championship with partner Shelton Benjamin when they defeated Private Party last week.

Lashley on Lesnar and Bautista’s MMA career

Lashley sat down with Shelton Benjamin and MVP for an interview with RJ City in Hey! (EW) and talked about Lesnar and Bautista’s time in MMA.

“I don’t think I’m the only one who was good at it. I think some other people. Dave walked in there. Batista went in there. He won a match. He had a fight. He trained for it and is still actively training at this time. So, in my opinion, that is success. Brock found success when he won the UFC Championship. There were a couple other guys that had gotten involved in this,” Lashley said.

Lashley, in a recent interview, while praising Tony Khan, who is the founder of AEW, talked about giving opportunities to stars to do whatever they want. Later, he showed his interest in MMA, saying, “I think I have at least one or two more fights left and I would like to be able to do them.”

Lashley talks about his future fights in MMA

Lashley talked about how he got into Mixed Martial Arts and started his career as a professional. He shared that he still has one or two fights left.

“For me, when I came into this, it wasn’t just about getting to a certain level. When I get into something, I really want to be a student of the game. As if I opened a gym. So I really got into it. “I’ve learned every aspect and I’m the type that’s okay with staying in the background and not knowing everything.”

He continued: “So, I wrestled for ten years and in that time I trained at all kinds of different gyms and had my own gym, so I was a student of the game. It’s something I still want to pursue. “I’m going to do a boxing match or a fight that’s still left in my career.”

Bobby has continued to prove himself in the world of wrestling and has emerged in feuds with various stars such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and has continued to showcase his impressive physique and strength in the ring.
