The historical drama Fodderwhich was launched on August 9, 2014, has a special place in the hearts of its fans.
The series is based on Diana Gabaldon’s book series, and the show has been developed by Ronald D Moore.
The main cast with Caitarine Balfe such as Claire Randall and Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser, enjoys a massive fandom, since fans cannot have enough of their chemistry on scorching screen.
The series recently concluded its seventh season and is coming to an end. But fans are in a gift, like a prequel to the successful series, titled Blood of my bloodIt is already in process.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the prequel will highlight the love stories of Jamie’s parents (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe). The series will be established in the context of the 18th -century Scotland England and World War I of Era I.
The report also establishes that the original Fodder The creative team has also been incorporated to work in the prequel. Matthew B. Roberts, Co-Showrunner of FodderWrite the prequel and take care of production.
Maril Davis and Ronald D. Moore worked in the original Fodder Series, they will also work as executive producers in the next series of the prequel.
The original show based on the books of Diana Gabaldon, will serve as a consulting producer.
The cast will have Harriet Slater, rehearsing the role of Jamie’s mother, Ellen Mackenzie and Jamie Roy, who will play the role of Jamie’s father, Brian Fraser.
The cast will also have Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine as Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, respectively.
The new additions will include Rory Alexander as the youngest version of Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser Duncan Lacroix, while Sam Retford will play the role of Dougal Mackenzie.
