Beats only 4 launched earlier this year, and the last headphones in the company’s ear went to India in August. The headphones are compatible with iOS and Android devices and have a standard USB-C port for load. Beats only 4 competes with headphones at similar prices from Bose and Sony.
The price for beats only 4 is set in RS. 22,900 in India. It is sold in three colors: Cloud Pink, Matte Black and Slate Blue (the company sent us this variant for its review), through the company’s online store and the retailers authorized in the country.

These headphones on the ear are made mostly plastic and seem quite similar to the previous generation models, apart from the colors most cake that give them a slightly less avant -garde appearance. This also means that they are quite light to use for prolonged periods, although you can feel them in your head. The Earpads do not seem to be replaceable to the user, which is unfortunate.
Beats only 4 presents a family design
Like its predecessors, Beats only 4 has the company logo in relief in both headphones. While the lack of ANC could be an obvious omission of beats only 4, headphones offer two useful characteristics: space audio with dynamic head and loss -free monitoring through USB Audio ports type C or 3.5 mm.
I connected the headphones using both interfaces and discovered that the sound quality was excellent, and the wiring mode allows you to use the device even when the battery is empty. Meanwhile, you will need an iPhone to use space audio with a dynamic head tracking function, and work reliably while listening or sees compatible music and videos, respectively.
Beats says that only 4 is equipped with digital microphones beam -forming microphones that are used together with a voice orientation algorithm designed to improve voice quality in calls. Even if you end up using headphones for a prolonged period, you should not have to load them more than once a week. The company says that its rapid fuel function allows users to connect headphones to a compatible charger and obtain approximately five hours of playback with a 10 -minute load.
Beats only 4 review: verdict
If you are looking for a couple of colorful wireless headphones under the RS. 25,000 mark that they work well with Android smartphones and Apple products, so beats only 4 is easy to recommend, thanks in part to their reliable sound quality and excellent battery life.
However, if you do not need functions such as space audio with dynamic head monitoring or does not have an Apple device that allows you to access the function, you may want to consider the headphones in the JBL Live Ear much cheaper.
Get a USB Cable and a 3.5 mm audio cable with only 4
The most advanced wireless headphones on the ear in the same price segment include the Sony Wh-1000xm4 (review), the Marshall Monitor II and the Bose Quietcomfort wireless headphones. Alternatively, you can wait for the price of beats only 4 to decrease before buying headphones.
These headphones offer ANC support, which is missing in Beats only 4. The Beats only pro old Pro of 2019 is available in some sellers in India for around RS. 25,000, with support for seamless switching and ANC using Apple’s H1 chip, if you do not care about the unnoticed rays port and the shortest battery duration announced (22 hours and 40 hours with anc enabled and disabled, respectively) .
