One of the most inspiring stories in Indian sports emerged during the Paralympics of Paris 2024, when the archer without Sheetal Devi arm stood out. Then, 17, Sheetal was considered one of the best archers for the world despite not having weapons, and supported his reputation by winning bronze in the category of compound of the mixed team in Paralympics 2024, along with Rakesh Kumar. The industrialist and president of the Mahindra group, Anand Mahindra, had promised Sheetal to give him a car, and that has now been fulfilled.
After a bull coup by Sheetal Devi had gone viral, Anand Mahindra had published on the social networks that any car of the Mahindra mountain range had promised him, which would be customized especially for her.
According to Mahindra, Devi had said he would take the gift only after turning 18.
Now, having turned 18 on January 10, Mahindra has apparently up to the promise, since Sheetal received a SCORPIO N from Mahindra.
I have admired for a long time @Archersheetal The talent from afar. Knowing her in person, I was surprised by her remarkable determination, tenacity and focus.
Talking to his mother and sister, it was clear that he runs in the family!

“For a long time I have admired the talent of Sheetal Devi from afar. Knowing her in person, I was surprised by her remarkable determination, tenacity and focus,” Mahindra tweeted.
“Sheetal is an inspiration for all of us, and I am proud to see her in a scorpio, an appropriate steed for her while continuing to climb to new heights,” he concluded.
Sheetal caught each and every one during the 2024 Paralympics with his unique arc striking style. Despite having been born with a rare congenital disease called Focomelia, Jammu’s girl has become an excellent arch.
At the time of the Paralympic Games, Sheetal was classified as goalkeeper number 1 in the women’s open compound category.
Not only did he win a medal at the Paralympic Games, Sheetal is also the first international para -soda champion without upper extremities. He has also won two gold and one silver in the Games for Asia of 2022.
