New Delhi:
The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, accused Arvind Kejriwal falsely claiming that the Haryana government mixed poison in Yamuna and dared AAP’s supreme in the state governed by BJP.
In response, the AAP said that Delhi Jal Board “confirmed” that the charges level by Kejriwal are true and challenged the BJP to obtain the level of ammonia in the river verified by a joint team of engineers in Haryana and Delhi with a supervision of the Electoral Commission.
Going to a public meeting in the Kalkaji constituency, Shah also challenged Kejriwal to tell the people of Delhi the name of the poison that, according to him, was mixed in the river.
According to Mr. Kejriwal, he saved the people of Delhi by preventing Yamuna from Yamuna “poison” entering Delhi, but must show the official order issued in this regard, Interior Minister said.
“Kejriwal Ji, winning and losing is part of the electoral process. Making an innocent face, you accused Haryana’s government of mixing poison (in the Yamuna) and you tried to scare the people of Delhi. Loaded.
“Ask the principal minister (Atishi) also where the report (DJB) is and what poison was mixed,” he added.
The AAP had accused the ruling BJP on Monday in Haryana to drain “intentionally” industrial waste in Yamuna, with Kejriwal alleging that he was trying to kill people by mixing “poison” in the river.
The CEO of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), Shilpa Shinde, had refuted Mr. Kejriwal on Monday in a letter to the main secretary, qualifying the claim “factically incorrect, without base, and misleading.”
Mrs. Shinde had also said that ammonia levels in Yamuna increased naturally during winters due to the reduction of flow and the mixture of non -treated wastewater or upward industrial waste.
Mr. Shah claimed that AAP’s leaders are liars and nobody “in the world” could match Arvind Kejriwal when it was promises. “Do any of you have poison water at home?” He asked people at the meeting. “I asked about the report and the people of the Jal Board said Kejriwal was lying.” AAP’s dispensation under Kejriwal’s leadership is “a government of lies, deception, rape of promises and corruption,” he accused.
“February 5 is a great opportunity for Delhi’s people to get rid of this ‘aap-da’. Vote for the BJP, make Ramesh Bidhuri win (from Kalkaji’s seat). Kalkaji will not become 1 in 1 Delhi, “he said to the meeting.
The AAP ruling alleged in a statement that by despair, the BJP caused the CEO of DJB to have published the letter on Monday, which only confirms that the charges level by Kejriwal are true.
The poisonous ammonia levels were recorded at a maximum alarming of 6.5 ppm that is incapable of treatment and dangerous for human consumption, he said.
“We challenge the BJP to form a joint team of engineers from Haryana and Delhi, with supervision of the Electoral Commission, to measure ammonia levels at each crucial point ‘from the release of water from Haryana to the entry points of Delhi in Wazirabad And Palla, “said AAP.
Amit Shah also faced Congress on the comment of its president Mallikarjun Kharge about the sacred exits in the Ganges in Prayagraj and said that the party under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had always insulted Sanatan Dharma.
“He gave me a dip (in Triveni Sangam) and Kharge Ji colds,” said the Minister of Interior in a blow to the head of Congress.
In the Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Rally in the city of Madhya Pradesh of Madhya, Mr. Kharge had alleged that BJP leaders were competing with each other to take a dip in the Sangam through the cameras, and asked if His act would help him eradicate poverty in the country.
“If someone was injured, I look for an apology,” said the head of Congress too.
In reaction to the comment, Mr. Shah urged the leader of Congress, Mr. Kharge, not to make fun of the faith of millions of people visiting Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj to give sacred greeting in the Sangam.
On the question of the president of Congress if taking a dip in the bargain would eradicate poverty, Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dip in 2019 and gave kitchen gas, five kilograms of free food grains, toilets, provided a treatment free to RS 5 Lakh and “other facilities” to 60 million people.
“Kharge Sahab, you’ve turned 80. In your whole life, you’ve never taken a dip. Tell us what you have done for the welfare of the poor,” Shah asked the president of Congress.
“My BJP party, our modi ji leader, and we all have faith in the traditions and faith of the country. That is why the Kartarpur Sahib was built and a magnificent kumbh mela is being organized,” he added.
The Elections to the Delhi Assembly of 70 members will be held on February 5 and the votes counted on February 8.
Amit Shah said that neither AAP nor Congress could do any good to Delhi. He urged people to give their mandate to the BJP for the development of the national capital under the leadership of Modi.
By claiming corruption during the AAP rule, he asked Kejriwal not to excuse that the government of his party did not fulfill his promises due to Covid pandemic.
“During the Covid Pandemia, Modi Ji took the country’s economy from 11 to fifth. India received the highest FDI (entrance) during the Covid period,” Shah said.
In addition, he asked Mr. Kejriwal how he could build a “Sheesh Mahal” for himself and “commit the liquor policy scam”, among others, during the pandemic.
The Interior Minister also directed Roadshows in Kasturba Nagar and the Badarpur constituencies.
