An American plane that transported 10 passengers disappeared in Alaska and search operations are ongoing, authorities said. The flight of the Bering Air caravan, from Unalakleet to Nome, was reported to overcome state soldiers in Alaska at 4 pm local time, according to the Alaska Public Security Department, as reported by NBC News.
In its official X account, the Alaska maritime area revealed that the plane was 12 miles from the coast from alakleet to Nome when its position was lost, reports Ani of the news agency.
“The 17th District of the United States Coast Guard responded to an aircraft emergency notification from the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center at 4:30 PM today for a Cessna caravan that reported that it has 10 people on board” Said the Uscgalaska.
