The left -hander completed his hundred in just 37 balls, losing Rohit Sharma’s record for the faster Indian to a T20i one hundred for only two balls. Rohit had reached a 35 -ball ton of 35 balls against Sri Lanka in 2017.
Previously, Abhishek Sharma ran to his fifty in just 17 balls, breaking the KL Rahul record one fifty of 18 balls, when he hit Jamie Overton for a huge six in the fifth. He also shared an association of 115 second wickt races with Tilak Varma (24).
