A comedian has suggested to ban Pornhub in the US — the most-visited website in the country — in response to Donald Trump’s trade war.

Some Canadians are proposing an unconventional tactic in the ongoing trade dispute with the U.S.—blocking American access to Canadian-owned Pornhub.
The US-Canada trade war has given birth to new and unique idea to get an upper hand in the ongoing dispute between the two neighbours – block American access to Canadian-owned Pornhub.
The idea was proposed by comedian Matthew Puzhitsky in an Instagram video – which has now gone viral – in which he called the X-rated videos Canada’s “nuclear weapon”.
Notably, Pornhub is the most visited website in the US with over 3 million views in a month.
“If Canada could ban Pornhub in the states, we win the trade war. That’s it. There is no trade war,” the Toronto stand-up comedian told The New York Post.
A petition has been launched in this regard, urding the authorities in the country to block Pornhub as a “peaceful yet powerful” response to the trade war. Though there are only a few dozen signatures so far.
New Yorkers React To Unique Pornhub Ban Proposal
The New Yorkers were terrified by the mere thought of losing Pornhub, whose parent company, the Montreal-based entertainment giant Aylo, operates several popular adult websites.
One concerned Manhattan told the NYP that if his access to Pornhub is restricted, he is “moving out of the US”.
“Canadians wouldn’t do that to us…would they?” another asked. “I thought they were supposed to be nice.”
“It’s a big move,” the man added and warned the sudden measure might turn out to be premature, as trade talks are underway. “Let’s not be hasty Canada!”
