Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell Starc became the two most important names that were discarded from the ICC 2025 champion trophy. Both Mitchell Starc and Jasprit Bumrah were part of the Border-Gavaskar trophy last month in Australia. The Champions ICC trophy begins on February 19.
While Jasprit Bumrah did not recover from his rear spasm suffered during the fifth test in Sydney against Australia. Mitchell Starc chose not to participate due to an ankle injury and also personal reasons.
