The American singer Mary Millben congratulated the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party on Saturday for her remarkable victory in the elections of the Delhi assembly, who saw the party returned to power in the city after more than 26 years.
The BJP secured 48 seats, defeating the AAM AADMI (AAP) game, which managed to win only 22 seats. This victory extended the influence of the BJP in Delhi and marked a significant blow to the AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal.
Millben, who has been a vocal defender of the BJP and his leadership, turned to the social media platform X to celebrate the victory.
He published a message congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National President of BJP, JP Nadda and India, for the “Rotunda Victoria” in the national capital.
“Victory of landslide for the @bjp4india in the Assembly of Delhi! Congratulations to Prime Minister @narendamodi, @jpnadda, and my beloved India for this resounding victory, “he wrote.
The American singer also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the president of the United States, Donald Trump, highlighting how his conservative movements prospered both in India and the United States.
“Thanks to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and President @realdonaldTrump, the conservative movement is alive and well in India and America,” he added.
The triumph of the BJP in Delhi highlights a strong political change in the capital, and the influence of the party expands even more, while the AAP faces a difficult path ahead after this shameful defeat.
