Congratulations to the BJP for starting the New Delhi assembly after more than two decades, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the party will ensure that Delhi has a main role to play in the construction of Viksit Bharat.

The BJP organized a return in the elections of the Delhi Assembly after more than 26 years on Saturday (February 8, 2025).

In BJP’s victory in the elections, Mr. Modi published on X, previously Twitter: “Jana Shakti is essential! Development wins, good governance triumphs. “

Mr. Modi also said: “I lean before my dear sisters and brothers of Delhi for this summary and historical mandate to BJP. We feel humiliated and honest to receive these blessings. “

The prime minister added that “it is our guarantee that we will not leave stone without moving in the development of Delhi, improving the general quality of life of the people and ensuring that Delhi has a main role to play in the construction of a Vksit Bharat Viksit.”

The vote for the Elections of the Delhi 2025 assembly concluded on February 5 with a general participation of voters of 60.39%. The greatest electoral participation was in Mustafabad (69%). The lowest was in Karol Bagh (47.40%). Most of the departure surveys on Wednesday predicted an advantage for the BJP over the AAP ruling in the surveys of the Delhi Assembly, while it was projected that Congress did not obtain significant profits.
