Billionaire Elon Musk decided to refer to Marko Elez, a former employee of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), after an X survey showed an overwhelming public support. The Tesla CEO asked the users if Elez, who renounced the racist publications of social networks, should be reinstated. The survey received the approval of 78 percent, which led Musk to announce Elez’s return, saying: “Er is human.”
The 25 -year -old resigned on Thursday after his previous positions became viral. One of his publications now eliminated said: “Normalizes Indian hatred”, while another said: “You couldn’t pay me to marry my ethnic group.” An July publication added even more: “Only for registration, it was racist before it was great.”
Despite the violent reaction, the musk, vice president JD Vance and President Donald Trump supported Elez’s return to his federal government position.
Musk’s survey, written as: “Bring Doge Stafper who made inappropriate statements through a pseudonym now eliminated?” He saw an overwhelming positive response of 78 percent, while only 22 percent voted against his claim.

As part of Doge, Marko Elez had direct access to the payment systems of the United States Treasury Department, Wired reported. These systems, including the payment automation manager (PAM) and the Safe Payment System (SPS), handle Social Security payments, tax declarations and other federal disbursements, ascending to more than $ 5.45 billion in 2024.
The X account eliminated from Elez, @nulllptr, previously operated under its name and made inflammatory positions that advocated the repeal of the Civil Rights Law and an “eugenic immigration policy.” In addition, he expressed hostility towards the people of India in Silicon Valley and made controversial comments on the Middle East, saying: “I would not mind at all if Gaza and Israel were erased from the face of the earth.”
Marko Elez, a Rutgers graduate, previously worked on Spacex, Starlink and X, focusing on AI. His hiring was part of Elon Musk’s effort to recruit young loyal and experts on the Internet for Doge, which has significantly altered federal agencies since the inauguration of Trump.
