The Rural Police of Vuyyur arrested three people on Friday (February 7, 2025) for allegedly practicing witchcraft in Vuyyur Rural Mandal in the Krishna district.
The defendants were identified as J. Vijay Kumar de Penamaluru, L. Mankanta de Yanamalakuduru and Ch. Haninath Babu de Chinna Ogualala Village, said the inspector of the Kankipadu Circle J. Murali Krishna on Friday.
The defendants were making bids during the last days creating panic among the villagers. After a complaint, the police recorded a case, said the rural area of Vuyyur if Suresh Babu.
A woman, who financially helped the defendant to make the alleged bids, was fuying, said Murali Krishna.
