Bengaluru:
In a great relief for Prime Minister Siddaramaiah, the Superior Court of Karnatak . Judge M Nagaprasanna today rejected a petition by activist Snehmayi Krishna, who had sought the court to transfer Lokayukta police investigation.
The accusation of corruption against Siddaramaiah refers to a land package that his wife Parvathi was granted by the mute in compensation for another piece of land he possessed.
This became a massive controversy with the BJP demanding that Siddaramaiah renounce his position. The leader of the Congress has denied the charges and said that the case of mute is politically motivated.
