The six -member panel constituted to investigate the vandalism of the Br Ambedkar statue in Amritsar on January 26, in its report presented to the Minister of the Union and the BJP Chief JP Nadda, recommended an investigation by the National Research Agency ( Child) about the incident.
On January 31, Mr. Nadda had condemned the incident and constituted the panel that includes the member of Rajya Sabha and former general director of the Uttar Police of Uttar Pradesh Brij Lal, the scheduled caste of BJP Morcha, the national president Lal Singh Arya Arya Arya Arya Arya , former minister of the Union, Som Parkash, National BJP, National BJP’s National Spokesman Guru Prakash Paswan, Uttar Minister Pradesh, ASEEM ARUN and the leader of the Ambala Party (Haryana) Banto Dev Kataria.
The panel visited Amritsar on Sunday to conduct the investigation and presented the report to Mr. Nadda on Thursday.
Previously, the Minister of the Union, Ramdas Athawale, had demanded the resignation of Punjab Prime Minister Bhagwant Mann, for the incident. The Congress also sought an unconditional apology of the state government, while the head of the Bahujan Samaj party, Mayawati, accused the negligence government of the AAM AADMI party.
Punjab’s prime minister had said that no one responsible for the incident would be saved. The State Police registered a case and arrested some criminals.
