Dhaka called the main diplomat of India on Thursday after the statement of Sheikh Hasina that Muhammad Yunus, main advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, had orchestrated a scheme to kill her.
The protest occurred after Sheikh Hasina made the statements in a speech for her followers and members of the party she directed, the Awami League, which was transmitted through Facebook Live. Hasina, Bangladesh’s prime minister, fled to India after Islamists and mobs assaulted their residence after kidnapping a popular student protest.
The Bangladesh Foreign Ministry on social networks said it presented a strong protest against the “false and manufactured statements” made by Hasina. The Nation’s foreign advisor told Bangladesh’s media that his ministry opposed the statements made by Hasina on different platforms, including media.
The interim government led by Muhammad Yunus has sued Hasina already its relatives in court for alleged forced disappearances, graft and crimes against humanity during the protests of June of August that caused the death of more than 800 people.
Yunus has demanded that India extradite Hasina and her spokesmen to maintain that the speeches and comments of the prime minister in exile have led to instability in Bangladesh.
India’s high interim commissioner in Dhaka, Pawan Badhe, received the protest note in which he expressed a strong discontent and concern for the comments considered offensive to Bangladesh’s public.
“Through the protest note, delivered to the High Interim Commissioner of India in Dhaka, the Ministry transmitted the deep concern, disappointment and reserve of the Bangladesh government, since such statements harm people’s feelings in Bangladesh. The ministry also emphasized that such activities by it are considered a hostile act towards Bangladesh and do not lead to efforts to establish a healthy relationship between the two countries, “said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on their Facebook page.

The interim government has fought to contain the justice of the mafia, vandalism and lynching of Hasina supporters and attacks on religious minorities after its acquisition of Bangladesh.
During his speech on Wednesday, Mobs broke into the residence of Bangladesh’s founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi. The residence of Rehman, Hasina’s father, is a national monument, but the mobs assaulted and destroyed the location.
The interim government of Bangladesh accused Hasina of fueling hate with his speech and said he was responsible for the attack against Dhanmondi.
