An Indian Air Force plane has crashed in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, said Police Superintendent Aman Singhore The Hindu.
Mr. Rathore said the two pilots had expelled from the plane safely and have received minor injuries.
The plane, a Mirage-200000, had taken off from Gwalior’s Air Base and crashed near the city of Karera, Shivpuri.
IAF ordered a consultation after a aircraft clash
Mr. Rathore said that a Gwalior IAF team has arrived in Shivpuri and will take the pilots with them. The IAF has ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the incident, he said in an X position.
The IAF said that Crash took place after a system malfunction during a routine outlet.
“A Mirage 2000 plane from the IAF crashed near Shivpuri (Gwalior), during a routine training output today, after finding a system malfunction. Both pilots safely expelled, ”wrote the IAF.
“The IAF has ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.”
