After examining a mini garbage transfer station in Sambamurthy Road, the Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), HM Dhyanachandra, ordered officials to establish similar stations in other places in the city to improve sanitation management.
As part of his inspection on Thursday (February 6), the commissioner visited several areas, including Sambamurthy Road, Dharna Chowk and Pornananda PET, to evaluate sanitation conditions.
According to the sources, officials have received instructions to identify vacant places near the vulnerable points of garbage in the city to establish mini garbage transfer stations, which, with four or five containers in the facilities, will be the discharge points.
It is not a rare view for the public to see dogs and won the stacked garbage and extending it along the road. The installation of a mini garbage transfer station in Marktets and occupied places is expected to provide a solution to the problem. Officials have also received instructions to plan the vegetation around the garbage transfer station in Sambamurthy Road to stop pollution.
During his visit, the commissioner also inspected public bathrooms and instructed officials to monitor the facilities to guarantee cleaning.
In Pornananda Pet, the commissioner instructed officials to make sure the roads remain free of invasions. He directed the business owners that operate within their designated areas and ordered the immediate elimination of any invasion that caused traffic obstructions.
In Dharna Chowk, the commissioner visited the cantina of Anna and made an inspection on the site. He stressed that the dining rooms should open in time without delays and that all assigned food tokens should be distributed to the public efficiently.

Satyakumari, Deputy Director of Horticulture Rammohan, planner of the attached city Chandra Bose, executive engineer Srinivas Reddy, Executive Cargo Engineer (Parks ) Chandrasekhar, and other officials participated in the program.
