When we find a travel post by Sarah Todd, we stop, learn and take signs for our next culinary adventure. The Australian celebrities chef has been traveling through India, discovering hidden food gems. His last stop in Boxes: Delhi. Sarah’s epicurean hunt took her to Kuremal Mohan Lal Kulfi in Old Delhi. He published a video on Instagram enjoying two fruity kulfis. “We have all tried fruit inside the ice cream. But today we are doing something very different: it is an ice cream inside a fruit. It is called Kulfi of Kuremal,” Sarah explained.
Sarah Todd’s sweet party started with Kulfi mango. Unlike fruit flavored kulfis, this dessert had fresh mango abroad with kulfi inside. After taking the first bite, the chef described the kulfi mango as “luxurious, creamy” and sweet, with “small touches of texture.” Equally delicious were saffron pistachios. Then, Sarah treated Orange Kulfi’s taste papillae. Cutting in wedges, the shameless orange, “puree in a sorbet,” was refreshingly delicious, he said. His verdict: “This is really one of the best kulfis I have tried.”

After watching the video, people reacted quickly. An enthusiast suggested: “You should have tried the Jamun Kulfi.” Another commented with enthusiasm: “Mango and ice cream: what is not loving?” Someone more intervened: “I can imagine how heavenly this would be, especially on a day of Delhi hot.” A user urged Sarah Todd to “come to Kolkata and try Puchka (Pani Puri).” Another found the fascinating concept, calling it “a great way of having kulfi.” Meanwhile, a fan praised the chef for “breaking the stereotypes (and) try all kinds of street foods in India.”
