According to reports, Hamas tortured and executed his own members who allegedly had same -sex relationships, revealed secret documents of the Palestinian group. Homosexuality is illegal in Gaza and can cause years in prison or death.
A former Hamas commander, Mahmoud Ishtiwi, was executed in 2016 for allegedly having same -sex relationships. Three bullets shot him in his chest, almost a year after Hamas imprisoned him and tortured him hanging the former commander for his limbs, according to the report.
