The Rural Police of Chikkaballapura arrested a gang of 10 people who murdered their relative 28 years after a fight for an alleged illicit relationship on February 2.
The deceased has been identified as Subhash, who worked as a manager with an E-Cart company. He is married to the sister of the main defendant. The couple has a three -month -old baby.
The couple used to fight each other to have an illicit adventure, according to the police. The main defendant, Broj, came to know his arguments. He agreed to Praveen, whose wife supposedly had an adventure with the deceased.
On February 2, the duo, along with another eight, called subhash for a talk. After a heated argument, they attacked Subhash with lethal weapons, which led to their death, and threw their body into a drain in Gauribidanur Road.
Fearing the repercussions, some of the defendants, who witnessed the crime, delivered before the police. The police found the body and arrested the rest of the defendant. Police have regained the weapons used by the defendant,
