IQOO 13 will launch in India on December 3, but before that, we had the opportunity to prove the performance of its camera. The phone was presented last month in China and is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 ELITE SOC, a triple rear camera unit and a 6,150 mAh battery. While it is said that most of the specifications of the Indian variant are similar, the battery capacity has been limited to 6,000 mAh. The IQOO series phones are known for their performance credentials, but the IQOO 13 expects to change that with its camera PROWESS with a triple rear chamber configuration of 50 megapixels.
IQOO 13 Chamber Specifications
The IQOO 13 presents a primary 50 megapixel sensor Sony IMX921 with F/1.88 opening, stabilization of optical images and electronic stabilization of images. The main rear camera can also shoot videos at a resolution up to 8K 30 fps.
The phone has a 2x teleobjective camera
It obtains another 50 megapixel ultrawide camera used by the Samsung S5KJN1SQ03 sensor and offers F/2.0 opening. Finally, there is a Sony IMX816 teleobjective sensor of 50 megapixels with F/1.85 opening and 2x optical zoom. While teleobjective is a reduction compared to IQOO 12, which came with a periscope teleobjective sensor, Iqoo states that the new phone uses living image image processing, which should help provide better results.

We tried the cameras in the IQOO 13 in Dubai, Eau and captured many photos using the three sensors. While we still cannot give our verdict, below there are some samples of the main, ultrawide and teleobjective cameras that you can consult.
First, let’s take a look at some photos of daylight and low light taken with the Sony IMX921 rear camera of 50 megapixels. The photos were taken in predetermined photographic mode.

The IQOO 13 takes good photos in daylight conditions. The photos have many details with slightly saturated colors, but above all realistic. The dynamic range and white balance also seem to be well balanced, but we will have to do more tests to see how the camera works in general.

MAIN CAMERA Low light samples in 1x (23 mm)
The low light performance of the main camera is commendable, especially for a telephone whose main point of sale is gross yield. The OIS in the main sensor helps to deliver less blurred photos. However, we take some photos while we move in a cruise, which is not the best configuration to take night photos that require the phone to be as still as possible.
Here are some samples taken from the Sony IMX816 telephoto sensor of 50 megapixels in portrait mode in four different focal distances.

I was pleasantly surprised by the portrait mode in the IQOO 13, but we will have to try more to see how it works in less ideal conditions. However, edge detection could have been better.
There is also an instantaneous mode in the application of the camera that is stated that it takes clear images of mobile images. Obviously, we tried this in the cars that move quickly (second shot below) in Dubai’s Autodrome. Take a look at some of the snapshot mode shots below. 
It is quite pleasant to have the instant function when shooting moving objects, and as you can see, the cars (which travel to more than 200 kmph in the second image) broke well and are not blurred.
