Devotos during the consecration of the temple Sri Devanatha Swamy in Thiruvahindrapuram, near Cuddalore, on Sunday.
Thousands of devotees on Sunday witnessed the Kumbhabhishekham in the temple Sri Devanatha Swamy in Thiruvahindrapuram.
The temple carried a festive look when at 10.5 am, the blessed water was poured over the Kalasams of the Gopurams and Vimanams in the middle of the song of the Vedic Hymns and the associated rituals. The song of “Govinda” by the assembly devotees filled the air.
The Minister of Agriculture and the well -being of the farmers of Tamil Nadu, MRK Pannerestelvam, presided over the auspicious ceremony. The Cuddalore Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar collector and the officials were present.
The renewal of the temple was assumed at an expense of more than ₹ 2.48 million rupees. The devotees received several comforts, including the LED screens in which the sacred event was transmitted. More than 1,000 police personnel were deployed for the event without problems of the event.
