The President of the Justice of India, Sanjiv Khanna, has gathered and interacted with judges and officials of the superior courts and judicial officers and employees of the district courts throughout the country to discuss the challenges facing the Judiciary, especially The pendency of cases.

The Judges of the Supreme Court and senior officials of the Interior Ministries, Law and Justice participated in the National Conference held on Saturday to address the problems facing the Judiciary in the States.

A statement from the Apex Court said the conference “gave an invaluable opportunity to all those interested within the Judiciary to join and participate in a significant dialogue” and mark a plan.

The discussions were carried out in the same week, a bank led by the CJI relaxed the conditions for the appointment of ad hoc judges in the higher courts as a measure to combat the accumulation of cases, especially in the jurisdiction of criminal appeals. The Apex court has eliminated the condition that ad hoc judges could be appointed only if judicial vacancies crossed 20% of the sanctioned force of a superior court.

The president of the Supreme Court Khanna and the judges of the Supreme Court, the judges such as Oka, BV Naguathna and Dipankar Datta discussed several issues at the conference, including ways to reduce the gulf between the institution and the elimination of cases, the identification of Types of cases flooding judicial macios and bottlenecks in the elimination of cases. and strategies to reduce the accumulation of cases at different levels.

Judges Br Gavai, PS Narasimha and KV Viswanathan celebrated a separate discussion about the viability of having a categorization of uniform cases in different courts. They deliberated about ways to take advantage of technology to better optimize judicial processes.

Recruitment of judicial officers

A session with Judges Surya Kant, JK Maheshwari and Sudhanshu Dhulia explored measures for the timely recruitment of judicial officers and court personnel in the district courts.

They discussed the steps, including a continuous recruitment/packing of prosecutors, legal assistance tips, creation of dictations of data and permanent data in the superior courts and the district courts.

In addition to the list of issues for discussions among the judges of the Supreme Court and the Superior Court, the bureaucrats and district judges were the need for an objective and transparent transfer policy for officers and judicial measures to improve objectivity in the Process of recommending adequate candidates of the appropriate candidates of the district’s Judiciary for elevation to the higher courts.

The president of the Khanna Supreme Court, together with the Vikram Nathram, MM Sindesh and Bela Trivedi judges, had a separated session in the conference on professional progression and the continuous evaluation of the performance of the judicial officers.

The discussion issues included the tutoring of judicial officers, the need to establish a common curriculum for their training and development development, and ways to guarantee responsibility between judicial officers and court staff.
