Faizabad’s deputy, Awadhesh Prasad, broke during a press meeting today and said he would resign Lok Sabha if the family of a 22 -year -old Dalit woman, found murdered near Ayodhya, did not receive justice. Ayodhya is part of Faizabad’s parliamentary constituency.
A video meeting video that is now viral shows the deputy of Faizabad crying and others comfort it. “Let me go to Delhi. I will raise this matter in Lok Sabha before (Prime Minister Narendra) Mod ? “Maryada Purushotam Ram, mother located, where are you?” While he will continue to resign, others say he has to guarantee justice for the victim.

The chilling crime occurred days ahead of the Bypoll in the Milkipur assembly segment in Ayodhya. Prasad unemployed the seat after being chosen for Lok Sabha. Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath and the head of the Samajwadi party, Akhilesh Yadav, lead the BJP and SP campaigns, respectively and the murder of rape will surely be a key point of conversation in the period prior to the elections of February 5.
The body of the 22 -year -old was found in a channel in the district of Ayodhya yesterday. She had gone to a religious meeting on Thursday night, but did not return home. The family members alleged that when they approached the police, they were told to look for the woman on their own.
Family members have claimed that the body was not dressed and that the victim’s eyes were missing. There were marks of serious injuries to the body and the limbs were tied with ropes, they said, and added that they suspect that it was raped and then killed.
Police have said they were investigating the matter. The Ashutosh Tiwari circle officer said the police had registered a missing complaint after the family filed a complaint on Friday.
The body has been sent for autopsy and the result will determine the additional course of action. “Once we receive the post -mortem findings, we will proceed accordingly,” PTI told the news agency.
The victim’s relatives said he had gone to Bhagavad Katha, but did not return home. “We found his body on the channel, without dressing and tied with strings. His bones were broken. He has been murdered without mercy,” said a relative.
