Rajasthan’s Prime Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, on Saturday (February 1, 2025) said that the 2025-26 Union budget had presented an adequate balance of economic development, social inclusion and environmental protection, while taking Important steps to make the vision of a developed India. Mr. Sharma said the budget had put the road map for a “balanced development”, while the middle class had received great relief through income tax concessions. Farmers received financial support and the micro, small and medium enterprises sector (MSME) had strengthened through the credit impulse, he said.

“Rajasthan’s government had presented proposals to extend the duration of the Jal Jeevan mission, providing special assistance for energy sector reforms and providing interest to the State for capital investment, which have been approved in the budget of the Union, “Sharma said. .

The head of the PCC, Mr. Dotasra, criticized the budget, describing that it was “unfair to Rajasthan.” He said that an announcement was not made to declare the East Rajasthan (CPR) project a national project, and the minimum support prices (MSP) for agricultural products were not mentioned. He said the budget focused mainly on survey states as Bihar and had ignored poverty and inflation problems.

The MLA of the Congress and the opposition leader at the Tika Ram Jully Assembly said that the BJP government, which had promised to double the income of the farmers by 2022, had increased the limit of the Kisan credit card to increase its load of its load of debt. “Just as a budget advertisement has been made to promote Makhana in Bihar, a similar announcement could have been made for the acquisition of Rajasthan’s greatest harvest, the millet, in MSP, which was not done,” said Jully.
