Apogee arrangements in the district of ASR for ‘Araku UTSAV’ since January 31

The arrangements are in full apogee for the ARAKU UTSAV entitled ‘Chali’, as of January 31, in the district of Alluri Sitharama Raju.

The district collector as Dneh Kumar, who is monitoring the arrangements, said the event would exhibit culture and tribal arts.

A great stage has been established in the Ground College Grounds government in Araku Valley, which will serve as the main place for the three -day event. A amusement park has also been established near the place. Several programs have been aligned in the three days of the event to involve tourists.

According to the authorities, the UTSAV will begin with a ‘Araku Marathon’ from 5K from the Padmapuram gardens to the main place on January 31.

At 11 in the morning, a flower show will be inaugurated in the newly opened botanical gardens of Padmapuram. Subsequently, a painting competition will be organized in the tribal museum in which students from several schools and universities will participate.

The ‘carnival parade’ opening will begin from the Padmapuram gardens around 3 pm

Tribal folk artists include Basthar Band, Thoda Dance, Ghond Tribal Dance, Tappeta Gullu, Kommu Koyya Dance, Savara Dance, Jathapu Dance, Buddha Bukkalu, Chekka Bajana, Jamuku Pata, Dance Manipur and a large number of tribal students will participate in the carnival .

Cultural programs that include tribal dances and comedy sketches will begin at 5 PM Nagadabheri Band, Dhimsa and Kuchipudi’s performances have also been planned.

District administration, police and the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) will also participate in the Festival.

The second day, a cycling event will be organized from the Cuevas de Borra to the main place. A plantation campaign, a coffee festival and some other programs in the morning in various places have also been scheduled.

At night, a fashion show, Band de Araku, Dhimsa, Gymticsics, Rela Nrithyam, Western Songs, Paika Act From Odisha, Comedy Skits and other performances will be organized.

The trekking event, the rangoli competitions and the MOB flash have been scheduled for the last day. The closing ceremony will have cultural actions, popular dances, laser show and firecracker show.

According to the officials of the Tourism Department, the positions and the food courts will be available during the three days. The Araku Valley is given a festive appearance with lighting.

As an additional attraction, the air conditioning walks facilities, the paragliding walking facilities and helicopters would also be available for visitors.

Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Principal Vice Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, Minister of Tribal Welfare, G. Sandhya Rani, President of the Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu Assembly has been invited to Araku UTSAV. However, with the MLC electoral code in force, the authorities are not safe from their participation in the festival.
