A public investigation into foreign interference in Canada has found “without a definitive link with a foreign state” in the murder of the pro-Khalistan activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, of which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had openly accused India.

The report also mentions an article dated September 18, 2023, published by the Globe and mail To say that Canadian officials had information on the possible Indian participation in the murder of Nijjar. After this news report, Trudeau made the announcement about the suspicion of India participation in the death of Nijjar.
