The talented batter of India Tilak Varma uploaded a place to second, while the mysterious Spinner Varun Chakravarthy made a mass leap of 25 places to enter the first five in the last T20i ranking of ICC Men launched on Wednesday. Varma is now just behind Travis Head on the Batters list, with the Australian maintaining a 23 -point advantage at the top. The young Indian left -hander has been sublime, publishing 197 -were scores, 72 was not and 18 in the current T20i series of India against England.
With two remaining games in the series, VARMA has the opportunity to get ahead of the head and become the youngest player to overcome the classifications, a record currently in the hands of Babar Azam, who reached number 1 at the age of 23 and 105 days.
The current 832 -point varuma qualification is the fourth highest achieved by an Indian batter in the history of T20i, only behind Suryakumar Yadav, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
Abhishek Sharma of India also made significant advances, jumping 59 places at 40º, while Liam Livingstone of England (up to five points up to 32) and Ben Duckett (up to 28 places at 68) were the largest winners of the visiting team.

The magic 5/24 of Chakravarthy in the defeat of 26 races in India in the third T20I promoted it to the top five in the Ranking of Bowling T20i.
Meanwhile, fellow Spinner Axar Patel uploaded five places to 11th, just outside the Top 10.
Adil Rashid of England has recovered the number 1 place among the Bowling players T20i.
Rashid first claimed the higher position at the end of 2023 and kept it during much of last year until Akeal Hosein of the Western Indies briefly exceeded it before Christmas.
Bumrah continues to dominate test classifications
India’s rhythm head, Jasprit Bumrah, is still the best classified test bowling player after his sensational performances in the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Australia.
His domain between formats also earned him the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers trophy for the Male CPI player of the CPI of the year 2024.
Among the off -road tests, Jomel Warrican of the Western Indies has risen to 24, while Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan uploaded two places to 15 in the classification of the trial hitters, who continue to be led by Joe Root of England.
