Days before Delhi’s surveys, Congress on Wednesday (January 29, 2025) launched its manifesto, promising to carry out a caste census and establish a ministry for Purvanchalis if you vote on power in the capital.

The party, which was expelled from energy by AAP in 2013, also promised a monthly subsidy of ₹ 2,500 to women, free electricity up to 300 units and cylinders of LPG to ₹ 500.
The free health insurance of up to ₹ 25 Lakh and free ration kits were also among the party’s guarantees.
The Manifesto, which has been divided into 22 focus areas, was revealed by the president of the president of the Congress of Delhi, Yadav. He was flanked by the communications position of the Jairam Ramsh Congress.
The Manifesto also promises financial assistance from ₹ 8,500 per month for a year to educated young people. The party also proposed to launch 100 indira dining rooms throughout the city that would offer meals to ₹ 5.
Ramesh attacked the central government led by BJP and the Delhi government led by AAP on the issue of pollution and said both have not addressed the crisis.
Delhi goes to the surveys on February 5. The results will be announced on February 8.
