The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to seek explanations from the United States government about the “degrading treatment” of Brazilians on a deportation flight, the ministry wrote on X on Saturday night.

The plane, which transported 88 Brazilian passengers, 16 security agents from the United States and eight crew members, was originally scheduled to reach Belo Horizonte in the southeast state of Minas Gerais.
