Food trends have a way of captivating us, and the last viral sensation is no exception. A bouquet of bread made completely fermented dough and shaped like fresh flowers has left the Internet astonished. This impressive creation was shared on Instagram by Katrina Nieren, a fermented mass artist of Carlsbad, California, whose unique turn in the baking has called worldwide attention.
Katrina, known for combining the design with her love for the art of fermented mass, has created a masterpiece that is visual and gastronomically charming. Each piece of bread in the field is intricately molded in flowers such as tulips, orchids, tiger lilies, roses and more, including exotic flowers such as blue lotos and poinsettias. The result? A collection of breads that look more like a garden than something edible.
In his Instagram video, Katrina, who made the transition from being a chef to a content creator, is seen cutting the bread to reveal his soft and spongy interior under a golden and crispy cortex. She subtitled the publication: “The flowers were voted as the favorites for my pastel cakes fermented in my latest publication, so I thought about sharing some more. I am always inspired by beautiful flowers.”
The video has accumulated more than 1.6 million visits and counting on Instagram.

Users of social networks are attack by the art of Katrina.
“The only flowers I want for Valentine’s Day,” said a user. Another commented: “I have never seen more artistic breads.”
Some were reluctant to imagine eating such beautiful creations. “No one should eat these breads. Just look at them and hanging on the wall,” a person suggested. Another user wrote: “They need to be in museums or auctioned by millions.”
