1912 Free service for energy consumers extended to rural areas of TGSPDCL

Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana LTD (TGSPDCL) has decided to expand the 1912 call center services in matters related to the power supply to rural areas. The free number is limited to Hyderabad’s larger limits from now on. The president and managing director of the Southern Discom Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui said that the public services company is also appointing the higher engineers as nodal officers to supervise and monitor the supply of electricity in the areas of DISCOM during the summer, when expected that the demand reaches its maximum point. Earlier this month, the maximum energy load in the transmission system had reached approximately 14,850 MW with the Southern Discom representing 9,500 MW.
