Income inspectors (RIS) and village counters (Vas), who are the main field of income from the income department, are ready to be high -tech, since the government is in the process of providing laptops.
By announcing this at a press conference in Bangalore on Monday, the Minister of Income, Krishna Byre Gowda, said that around 6,000 laptops would be given in March. All RIS and you will get laptops within the end of the year, he said.
The RIS and the VAs would be linked to the e-agtice system once they obtain laptops so that they can access documentation and online work. This would prevent them from being unnecessarily to charge, shortening their excursions only to obtain documents. This would help them spend more time in field work, he explained.
Mr. Byre Gowda announced that he would be given an incentive of ₹ 4.5 million rupees to Vas and Gram Sevaks, who played a crucial role in Aadhaar planting of 2.12 million RTC. Around 8,000 employees would be eligible for this incentive that would be proportional to the number of cases managed by them, he said.
He said that the incentive was being given to encourage them and also compensate for the expenses incurred in terms of travel and mobile currency charges, while handling Aadhaar’s planting with RTC.
