The Delhi Assembly elections saw an electoral participation of 60.54 percent, with 94,51,997 people casting their votes on Wednesday, according to the Electoral Commission of India.
Of the voters who exercised their franchise, 50.42 Lakh were men, while 44.08 Lakh were women. In addition, 403 third -genre voters participated in the voting process.
The vote count will take place on Saturday.
Several departure surveys have predicted a victory for the BJP over the AAP ruling, while it has been projected that Congress does not obtain significant profits from the latest elections. However, two exit surveys predicted a victory for the AAM Admi (AAP) match, and as many showed a close contest between them, with an advantage for the BJP.
In the 2020 surveys, Delhi had registered a 62.59 percent participation, while only 56 percent of voters in the national capital participated in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The survey for the assembly of 70 members with 699 candidates in the fray was held at 13,766 stations on February 5 from 7 am to 6 pm
According to ECI data, the Northeast of Delhi registered the greatest participation in 66.25 percent, while the Southeast district saw the lowest participation in 56.40 percent.
Among the constituencies of the individual assembly, Mustafabad had the greatest electoral participation at 69.01 percent, while Mehrauli recorded the lowest at 53.02 percent.
The special summary review, 2025, published by the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, showed that Delhi has 1.5,24,858 registered voters of which 83,49,645 are men, 71,73,952 are women and 1,261 voters of third genre.
