2,800 houses completed in Chittoor: President of ApTigen

The president of Apidco, V. Ajay Kumar, inspects a Tecco Housing Unit in Chittoor on Wednesday.

The president of Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (Apotidco), Vemulapati Ajay Kumar, announced that all the Casas de Tecco will be completed and distributed to eligible beneficiaries within the current year under the coalition government.

During an inspection of housing projects here on Wednesday, Mr. Ajay Kumar reiterated the government’s commitment to provide the fully developed housing units with essential infrastructure, including street lights, roads and drainage systems.

He said that Prime Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Principal Deputy Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and the Minister of the Municipal Administration, P. Narayana, have ordered officials to accelerate the completion of the houses.

“Only in Chittoor, 2,800 houses have been completed, and the government is working to resolve the concerns raised by the beneficiaries with respect to the loan pressures of the banks,” said Mr. Ajay Kumar. He assured that the Government will take the necessary measures to provide financial relief and justice to the beneficiaries.

The inspection was attended by the mayor of Chittoor, Amuda, the president of the Urban Development Authority of Chittoor, Katari Hematha, the municipal commissioner Narasimha Prasad and the staff of Tecco.
